About Northern Schools Early Years

The Northern Schools Early Years (NSEY) is an Early Years Management group that supports 18 Early Childhood services, 16 of which are co-located on school sites. We are proud to have been awarded in two categories in the 2023 Department of Education’s Victorian Early Years Awards. The Ministers award for our Continuity of Early Learning: NSEY operates as a Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) model and the Improving Access and Participation in Early Learning award recognising NSEY's commitment to improving access and participation for families and children.  Our purpose is to “Love a Life of Learning and Living,” and we aim to set the highest standard of early years education in partnership with local schools and the community. The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing and thriving organisation. We are seeking to employ an experienced administration/enrolment officer to join our team onsite who will manage the effective enrolment and administration processes for our early year's services enrolment processes, ensuring customer-focused service delivery. Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this position, you will be required to demonstrate ability in the following areas:

  • Demonstrated experience and excellence in Customer service and Administration including answering telephone enquiries, greeting visitors and performing reception duties
  • Administration and maintenance of the enrolment database, including data entry, data analysis and receipting in a timely manner. 
  • Ability to produce a high standard of work processes and data reporting clearly and efficiently
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Related Databases (experience with the Kindergarten Information Management (KIM), Arrival and Child Care Subsidy systems software desirable, however not necessary)
  • High level of organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare reports.
  • Ability to take initiative, organise, plan and prioritise work

About you:

You will have considerable experience in administration, data collection and input, data analysis and excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders internally and externally.  Exposure to a medium organisation and experience working in an early year's environment and enrolment processes and systems would be highly regarded.

You may be an Early Childhood Educator/Teacher, have a thorough understanding of the education and care services Regulations, Act and administrative processes and requirements for enrolments and are seeking a move into the administrative and management area of early years provision is desirable.
