About Northern Schools Early Years Cluster
The Northern Schools Early Years Cluster (NSEY) is an Early Years Management group that supports 19 Early Childhood services, 17 of which are co-located on school sites. We are proud to have been announced as winners in the 2023 Department of Education’s Victorian Early Years Awards for Continuity of Early Learning for our Kindergarten to Year 6 model and Improving Access and Participation in Early Learning and the ministers award for our kindergarten to Grade 6 (k-6) model "Continuing of Learning".

We are seeking to employ experienced Early Childhood Educators to support our high-quality kindergarten program at Molesworth Street Kindergarten, located on the 5th floor at North Melbourne Primary School. The kindergarten is a modern, light-filled facility designed to inspire children's learning - complete with a large, beautiful rooftop outdoor learning space.

This is an opportunity to be part of an amazing team working in partnership with North Melbourne Primary School and the local community as part of our integrated Kindergarten to Grade 6 model. We have 2 part-time positions available for Educators from 17.5 to 26.25 hours spread over 3 to 5 days per week.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Knowledge of child development and supporting the planning, implementing and evaluating a quality early childhood education program.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing learning and development.
- A commitment to inclusion and equity, and cultural competency
- A commitment to child-safe standards
- A minimum Certificate III or Diploma of Children's Services
